６月１８日午後蒲田校建築学科１．２年生対象に、アメリカテンプル大学准教授のアンドリュー先生をお呼びして特別講義をしていただきました。テーマは先生のご専門である「ロボットと建築の未来」についてです。既に建築の施工やデザインの現場でロボットは導入されていますが、先生はこれからは人間がよりロボットとコラボすると全く新しい形態、材料、機能を持った建築が可能になると予想しています。カナダに留学していた建築学科４年生が、今回通訳を頑張りました。日常的な建築のイメージを超えた刺激的な内容でした。
On June 18th we had Andrew sensei, an assistant professor from the Temple University, come to talk on his major ' Robotics and Architecture'. The robots are already used in construction and design as a tool. However Andrew sensei told us we need to colaborate with robots not use as just a tool to create new form and space.A 4th grade student did translate for students and did good job.The lecture was very stimulating one and successful.
